Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of exhibiting the effects of both removing and preventing urolith using a solid agent aimed at removing and preventing urolith in toilets and toilet drainpipes simply through placement of the solid agent inside a toilet bowl without the need for cumbersome care such as cleaning. This solid toilet urolith removal and prevention agent comprises at least two layers: a first layer comprising 60 to 99.9 mass% of a solid carboxylic acid; and a second layer which is located below the first layer when in use and comprises 60 to 100 mass% of a sulfamic acid. Having the whole of the first layer located above the second layer when in use enables at least a portion of the first layer to persist when the second layer has completely disintegrated or dissolved. Additionally, the same effect can be obtained by using a first agent having the same composition as the first layer and a second agent having the same composition as the second layer such that the first agent is on top of the second agent at the start of use.
