Abstract:
The present invention relatively inexpensively provides a highly transparent structure relating to usage management of a shared device. A usage management apparatus according to the present invention has: a user authentication unit which authenticates users in relation to a shared device that can be used by a plurality of users; a control unit which controls the shared device in accordance with authentication results from the user authentication unit; and a writing unit which writes, to a blockchain, information indicating that the shared device has operated according to control by the control unit. The writing unit writes, to the blockchain, user identification information and at least one of a date, place, number of times, and document size that the shared device operated.
