Title:
USE OF COMBINATION OF BACTEROIDES FRAGILIS AND IMMUNE CHECKPOINT INHIBITOR IN TREATMENT OF DIGESTIVE SYSTEM TUMORS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/134201
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is the use of a combination of Bacteroides fragilis and an immune checkpoint inhibitor in the treatment of digestive system tumors, in particular to the combined use of Bacteroides fragilis ZY-312 with the deposit number of CGMCC No. 10685, inactivated Bacteroides fragilis ZY-312 and an immune checkpoint inhibitor, including an antibody against PD-1 or an antibody against PD-L1, which can effectively inhibit the growth of transplanted tumors in mice in vivo by means of increasing the proportion of CD4+T cells and CD8+T cells, down-regulating the level of cytokine IL-10 in tumors or up-regulating the level of IFN-γ. Bacteroides fragilis can also be used in combination with treatment means such as surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which can significantly improve the comprehensive efficacy, reduce the harm of radiotherapy and chemotherapy to the body, effectively prevent the occurrence, development, recurrence and metastasis of tumors and improve the quality of life of patients.
