Title:
USE OF COMPOSITION COMPRISING STEM CELL-DERIVED EXOSOME AS EFFECTIVE INGREDIENT FOR PREVENTION OR ALLEVIATION OF PRURITUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/004757
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention provides a composition comprising stem cell-derived exosomes as an effective ingredient for prevention, suppression, reduction, alleviation, or treatment of pruritus. Acting on multiple cytokine targets causative of pruritus such as IL-4, IL-31, and TSLP, a composition of the present invention can be applied to a wide spectrum of pruritus attributed to various causes and can effectively suppress and reduce pruritus. In addition, when directly applied to the human skin, the composition of the present invention can remarkably alleviate pruritus-associated clinical indices and erythema. Therefore, the composition of the present invention can be useful as pharmaceutical compositions, skin agents for external use, and cosmetic compositions for preventing, suppressing, reducing, alleviating, or treating pruritus.
