Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a safe and efficient food material that is used for treating lifestyle-related diseases, is derived from a natural product, and can be expected to be effective by being taken in through daily life. [Solution] Provided is a green gram protein, which is a food material, for the treatment of lifestyle-related diseases, such as the promotion of adiponectin secretion and the improvement of insulin resistance. The green gram protein is preferably 8Sα globulin.
