Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a use of a fraction of an Apios americana tuber extract having anti-inflammatory activity as a preventive or therapeutic agent for alcoholic gastritis, and a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention provides: an anti-inflammatory composition containing an Apios americana tuber fraction extracted and fractionated with a specific solvent; a composition, containing the anti-inflammatory composition, for preventing, ameliorating, or treating an inflammatory disease or alcoholic gastritis; a method for preventing or treating an inflammatory disease or alcoholic gastritis using the anti-inflammatory composition; a use of an ethanol fraction of an Apios americana tuber ethanol extract in the production of an anti-inflammatory agent or a drug for preventing or treating an inflammatory disease or alcoholic gastritis; and a method for producing the fraction having anti-inflammatory activity.
