Abstract:
53 specific gastric cancer prognosis biomarker genes are disclosed. Specifically, the 53 genes comprise: cell cycle-related genes, acetylation-related genes, RNA/ncRNA pathway-related genes, extracellular matrix-related genes, and other genes. On the basis of the 53 prognostic related genes in gastric cancer and detection results of expression thereof in clinical samples, predicted scores are calculated to assess the clinical prognosis of gastric cancer, to help the gastric cancer patients with treatment selection and to predict the response to treatment intervention, so as to determine whether the patient can be benefitted from a chemical and a targeted treatment, thereby avoiding excessive medication, reducing medical costs, and finally achieving the purpose of precision or individualized medical care.
