Abstract:
The use of low molecular weight fucoidan in preparing of medicine for treating
kidney diseases is provided, wherein the kidney diseases comprises but not limited
to renal failure, nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and diabetic nephropathy
etc. The low molecular weight fucoidan in the present invention can be obtained
by the degradating the fucoidan which is extracted from sea tangle, bladder-wrack,
ascophyllum nodosum, kelp, or chorda filum, and the molecular weight is 1,000
to 200,000.
