The present invention belongs to the technical field of daily products, and particularly relates to a use method for a cleaning tool, enabling convenient replacement of a wiping cloth, and capable of helping control water content on a wiping cloth. The cleaning tool comprises a mop and a mop bucket, a detachable wiping cloth being arranged on a mop head of the mop, the mop bucket comprising a liquid storage bucket and an object storage bucket which are oppositely rotatably arranged, the liquid storage bucket and the object storage bucket being oppositely arranged vertically, liquid being stored in the liquid storage bucket, and multiple wiping cloths being stored in the object storage barrel. The use method comprises the following steps: when in use, rotating and opening up the liquid storage bucket and the object storage bucket, putting the mop head with the wiping cloth into the liquid in the liquid storage bucket to enable the wiping cloth to absorb liquid and become wet, and using the wet wiping cloth to clean an operation surface; and when the cleaning surface needs to be dried, removing the wiping cloth used for cleaning, then installing a dry wiping cloth from in the object storage barrel, and drying the operation surface.
