Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of an N-benzylbenzamide compound or a salt thereof, which are represented by formula (I) and formula (II), as a herbicide. The N-benzylbenzamide compound or the salt thereof is used as a pigment synthesis inhibitor for preventing and removing weeds in places where field crops and places where uncultivated crops grow. Moreover, the compound is also combined with an agriculturally acceptable carrier to form an agricultural herbicide. Furthermore, the compound is also combined with other herbicidal active ingredients, especially atrazine, to be used as an agricultural herbicide in the form of a mixed preparation. The N-benzylbenzamide compound or the salt thereof is high in herbicidal activity, can be used for preventing and treating weeds with a resistance to existing herbicides, and has a good synergistic effect when being combined with other herbicidal active ingredients.
