Abstract:
Disclosed is a use of a nootkatone in the preparation of medicines for preventing and/or treating depression.The nootkatone has a significant efficacy which is better than that of the existing antidepressant drug Prozac; and it has a wide range of sources and offers more choices for preventing and treating depression.
