Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of phosphodiesterase (PDE) type 5 inhibitors or their pharmaceutically compatible salts for producing a medicament for preventing and/or treating diseases or health disorders, which are associated with an excessive proliferation of adipose tissue in the body. In particular, the invention relates to the use of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors for preventing and treating adiposity. In addition, the invention relates to special dispensing systems for the vaginal and sub-cutaneous administration of PDE5 inhibitors.
