Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of a TMPD-TXBQ cocrystal material in laser ignition. TMPD-TXBQ of the present invention can be applied to the laser ignition of an energetic material as a light-controlled detonating agent. The TMPD-TXBQ cocrystal material comprises an electron donor, TMPD, and an electron acceptor, wherein the electron acceptor can be one or a mixture of TFBQ, TCBQ and TBBQ. The TMPD-TXBQ cocrystal material can be TMPD-TFBQ, TMPD-TCBQ or TMPD-TBBQ. The TMPD-TXBQ cocrystal material of the present invention can be triggered by a near-infrared laser with a very low power (0.6 W) at a very low input energy (40 mJ), thereby rapidly releasing a large amount of heat, and may provide a high temperature of 318.9°C, so that the requirement for the laser can be significantly reduced, and is beneficial for reducing the cost and miniaturization of a trigger system. The TMPD-TXBQ cocrystal material can be very sensitively controlled by the laser, and a higher critical temperature ensures the safety of the material. In addition, heat release of the TMPD-TXBQ cocrystal material of the present invention can be remotely controlled, and the heat release can still be initiated by an externally irradiated laser after the TMPD-TXBQ cocrystal material is wrapped by a packaging material.
