Provided are uses of an adenosine derivative, shown in formula (I), in preparing pharmaceuticals for the prevention and/or treatment of hyperlipidemia-induced monocytosis, and for the prevention and/or treatment of atherosclerosis. The prevention and/or treatment of atherosclerosis refers to the prevention and/or treatment of atherosclerosis-induced inflammatory monocytosis.
