Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is the use of ZYZ-802 in the preparation of a drug for treating psoriasis. The chemical name of ZYZ-802 is S-propargyl cysteine, and the chemical formula of ZYZ-802 is C6H9NO2S. In the present invention, experimental research on a mouse psoriasis animal model has proven that ZYZ-802 can significantly improve skin lesions and the disease severity of psoriasis, and at the peak time of incidence of the model, that is, on the third day of modeling, the effect on skin scales of model animals is significantly better than that of a positive control group drug of methotrexate tablets. The pathological detection shows that the pathological injury caused by skin lesions can be significantly reduced by both routes of administration of ZYZ-802, in particular, the improvement on the cuticle and the corium layer is more significant, and the injuries to the epidermal layer can be effectively reduced by means of the administration of the ZYZ-802 by smearing the skin with same. Moreover, an ZYZ-802 administration group displayed no obvious toxicity, while the methotrexate tablet group displayed obvious toxic and side effects of general weight loss, death of a plurality of animals, etc.
