Abstract:
This invention provides a useful product production apparatus as a compact treatment apparatus which can efficiently produce a useful product without releasing a bad odor. The useful product production apparatus is an apparatus for decomposing organic waste, comprising a fermentation apparatus provided with a plurality of treatment tanks for decomposing organic waste, an air supply device for forcibly supplying air into the plurality of the treatment tanks, and a deodorizing device for deodorizing gas discharged from the individual treatment tanks. In the fermentation apparatus, a useful product is produced from the organic waste by thermoduric bacterial flora. The deodorizing device comprises a pickling tank, a water washing tank, and a microorganism deodorizing tank. The gas released from each tank is successively passed through the pickling tank, the water washing tank, and the microorganism deodorizing tank to deodorize the gas.
