This user equipment is provided with: an upper layer processing unit in which, in a serving cell, a first set of downlink resource blocks (DL RB) that are successive in the frequency domain, and a second set, different from the first set, of DL RBs that are successive in the frequency domain are set; and a reception unit which, with the first set being activated, monitors a first PDCCH having a first DCI format in the first set, and receives, in the first set, a PDSCH being scheduled by the first DCI format. In the serving cell, if the number of sizes of different DCI formats being monitored using C-RNTI is more than 3, the size of a first frequency domain resource allocation field included in the first DCI format is given by the number of RBs of the second set, and the first frequency domain resource allocation field is used for scheduling the RBs in the first set.
