User equipment comprising: a reception unit which receives an instruction concerning quality measurement from a base station device serving as a master node or a secondary node; and a control unit which performs the quality measurement in accordance with the instruction. The control unit performs the quality measurement in accordance with a predetermined intermittent reception setting.
