Abstract:
An edge enabler client (EEC) (2) of user equipment (UE) (1) receives, from an edge configuration server (ECS) (7), a service provisioning notification including EDN setting information for accessing an edge data network (EDN) (4) and replies to the ECS (7) with a response message in response to the reception of the service provisioning notification. This enables the ECS to confirm whether the service provisioning notification has been successfully received by the EEC of the UE in, for example, a service provisioning procedure based on a Subscribe/Notify model.
