Abstract:
A user equipment in a radio communication system which supports a first uplink communication scheme in which the user equipment autonomously selects a pre-determined uplink wireless resource, and a second uplink communication scheme in which a base station allocates an uplink wireless resource to the user equipment includes: an acquiring unit which acquires from the base station indication information indicating either one of the first uplink communication scheme and the second uplink communication scheme; and a transmitting unit which transmits an uplink signal using the first uplink communication scheme or the second uplink communication scheme in accordance with the indication information.
