Abstract:

The present invention makes it possible to use a synchronization signal and/or a reference signal in which the required conditions of a carrier are taken into consideration. A user equipment according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a reception unit which receives at least one of a narrow band signal and a wide band signal that are configured to have the same transmission timing, and a control unit which implements a control using at least one of the narrow band signal and the wide band signal for synchronization and/or measurement. The user equipment is characterized in that the reception unit, when receiving the narrow band signal, performs the reception in a partial frequency region included in a frequency region of the wide band signal, and, when receiving the wide band signal, performs the reception in a frequency region including the frequency region of the narrow band signal.
