Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a user terminal connectable with an external display, and a control method therefor, and may provide a user terminal comprising: a main display; an interface unit for connection with an external device comprising a sub display; and a control unit which performs control to display, in response to detection of a connection with the external device through the interface, a plurality of position icons for designating the position of the sub display on the main display, and perform, in response to selection of a desired position icon from among the plurality of position icons, a connection setup for the sub display such that the sub display is arranged at a first desired position corresponding to the selected desired position icon.
