Abstract:

The present invention relates to a user terminal operating in conjunction with peripheral devices, and a method for preventing information leakage using the same. A user terminal for preventing information leakage according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communication unit which receives and installs general code of an application program from an application program providing sever; an authentication unit which receives, from peripheral devices storing the core code of the application program, a registration request message including identification information on the peripheral devices, authenticates the peripheral devices, transmits a registration response message including the identification information of the user terminal to the peripheral devices, and receives the core code of the application program from the peripheral devices; an execution unit which executes the application program using the general code and the core code; and a control unit which performs control to restrict some functions of the user terminal while the application program is executed. As such, according to the present invention, it is possible to protect the information of companies or organizations and prevent the leakage of secrets by restricting the functions of the user terminal which are likely to be used as an information leakage means.
