Abstract:
The present invention can perform a random access procedure that is appropriate for when a use band is restricted to a frequency block that is one portion of a system band. The user terminal according to one embodiment has a use band that is restricted to a frequency block that is one portion of a system band. The user terminal is provided with: a transmission unit that repeatedly transmits a random access signal; a reception unit that repeatedly receives a response signal that corresponds to the random access signal; and a control unit that detects the number of repetitions of the response signal. The reception unit receives detection information for the number of repetitions of the response signal, and the control unit detects the number of repetitions of the response signal on the basis of a repetition level for the random access signal and of the detection information.
