Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to implement a random access procedure (such as a random access preamble transmission) in a preferable manner while achieving flexible quality control in future wireless communication systems. A user terminal of the present invention communicates with a cell in which a predetermined numerology is applied. The user terminal comprises: a generation unit which generates a random access preamble; a transmission unit which transmits the random access preamble in the cell; and a control unit which controls the generation of the random access preamble by selecting a predetermined series length from a plurality of series lengths.
