Abstract:
This UE (100), which supports D2D proximity services, is provided with a transmission unit that transmits a D2D synchronization signal and a prescribed D2D signal and a control unit that monitors the reception status of said D2D synchronization signal and prescribed D2D signal. When the UE (100) is outside a network coverage area, if the transmission unit is transmitting the aforementioned D2D synchronization signal but the control unit is not receiving either D2D synchronization signals or the aforementioned prescribed D2D signals from other user terminals, the UE (100) determines that no other UEs synchronized with this UE (100) are nearby.
