CLAIMS To save POTABLE DOMESTIC WATER by utilising the usage of waste and rainwater. |
The invention is a T shaped injection moulded component which fits into a waste downpipe with the branch end of the T fitting through a water butt or receptacle. The component is a complete injection moulded product in its own entirety including the invented MEMBRANE / EMBODIMENT feature that bi-sects the pipe diameter into two D shape type apertures. The membrane / Embodiment feature cuts the water off from exiting the down pipe but re-directs the water into an awaiting butt / receptacle, having passed through the clipped on FILTER UNIT (in itself unique).
,The .top Q. shaped. aperture is the water INLET whilst the underneath D shaped aperture is the OUTLET (OVERFLOVV). M " " "' " ' '"""*'"" " "
Therefore we have an INLET and an OUTLET (OVERFLOW) system operating in the same component (I believe this feature to be unique). In essence we have water flowing through ยท the top D shaped aperture and flowing back out through the bottom D shaped aperture (also a unique feature). By using the waste water from the bath, sink, shower provides a
continuous flow of water on a daily basis into the butt / receptacle.
The water is continuously agitated because of the continuous flow of water. The water is recycling not allowing the water to become stagnated, smelly and does not allow the festering of ALGAE or BACTERIA to pollute the water.
There are also two injection moulded SLOTS in the component. These are there to house the FILTER UNIT. The two dowel in the end of the EMBODIMENT are to align other components if need be, that have adapted the same characteristics moulded into them.
Fully Assembled Unit (Fig 4) Consisting of Water Diverter with Embodiment and Filter with Inner Sleeve (Fig 1 , 3 & 2 respectively}

Filter Main Body Internal Sleeve
The Filter Main Body (fig 3) fits onto the end of the diverter membrane end with two slots in . (6). This is a snap on fit that locks the filter unit into position and aligns the two D-shaped configurations 3 and 21 in tandem with one another, resulting in the water flowing through both apertures and through the nylon filter into a butt or receptacle.
s -TherfilterTO ring is there to
The insider Slider Fig 3
Retains the nylon filter in its position therefore the nylon filter is held between the top face of the annular ring and the slider (Fig 2).
The slider insert is called such because it easily slides out in order that the nylon filter can be removed, cleaned or exchanged. Fig (10) is a location nib that fits into recess (12), this alignment is to line up the D-shaped apertures. '
Summary
We: now have a position where all three D-shapes (3, 14 & 11) are in line with each other. This allows the waste or rainwater to have a direct flow through the DIVERTER
EMBODIMENT (Fig 1.), FILTER BODY and SLEEVE into and through the nylon filter to reac its destination in the water butt or receptacle (of any size or shape). The water then . rises to meet the OVERFLOW AUTOMATIC SYSTEM in the diverter, to ebb away downwards into the drain. The daily use of waste water ensures the water is circulated all . the time, this ensures there is no stagnant, smelly or algae water hanging around, " unlike * others on the . market (20) is the nylon filter.
