A light blanket and a method for use of the light blanket in the installation of cured-in-place pipe liners, the light blanket made from a sheet of ultraviolet light emitting diodes (UV LEDs) embedded in a flexible array of circuitry, enclosed by a protective, translucent material allowing the sheet, and therefore, the blanket, to illuminate and emit light.
