Abstract:
V ribbed belt (B) comprising a belt and, arranged on the inner side thereof so as to line up in the direction of belt width, multiple V ribs (13) each formed so as to extend in the direction of belt length. The V ribbed belt (B) is wound round a pulley in such a fashion that the multiple V ribs (13) are brought in contact with the pulley to thereby effect power transmission. The multiple V ribs (13) consist of a rubber composition having 5 to 50 parts by mass of thermoplastic resin (15) of ≥ 110°C melting point mixed in 100 parts by mass of ethylene-&agr -olefin elastomer rubber as a raw rubber.
