Abstract:

A V-type engine equipped with: an engine main body (11) equipped with a pair of banks arranged in a V-shape; a first supercharger (17) that compresses intake air; a second supercharger (18) that further compresses the intake air compressed by the first supercharger (17); a first intercooler (19) that is arranged between the first supercharger (17) and the second supercharger (18), and that cools the intake air compressed by the first supercharger (17); and a second intercooler (20) that cools the intake air compressed by the second supercharger (18). Of the first intercooler (19) and the second intercooler (20), only the first intercooler (19) is arranged in the V-valley (27) between the pair of banks (14a).
