Abstract:
Disclosed are an M. paragordonae (strain 49061) strain, which is a temperature sensitive mycobacteria, and a vaccine composition comprising the same. Upon vaccination, the vaccine according to the present invention proliferates in the skin and hypodermis, thereby stimulating immunity, and is inhibited in proliferation due to the characteristic of being able to grow only at temperatures lower than body temperature in the center of the body, and thus the possibility of infection is low. The vaccine of the present invention can be used safely and usefully as a vaccine for prevention of diseases caused by mycobacteria, and for immunotherapy.
