Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner according to one embodiment comprises: a main body; a suction head which is connected to the main body and comprises a suction inlet through which a foreign matter is sucked; a brush rotatably provided inside the suction head; a brush motor for delivering a rotational force to the brush; a suction motor for generating a suction force through the suction inlet; a pressure sensor for measuring the atmospheric pressure and the pressure of the suction inlet; and at least one processor which determines a suction pressure on the basis of the atmospheric pressure and the pressure of the suction inlet, and determines, on the basis of the suction pressure and a load of the brush motor, vacuum cleaner state information comprising at least one of operation state information and information of the type of surface to be cleaned.
