Abstract:
Provided is a vacuum cleaner, comprising: a main body part which generates a suction wind; a manipulation part which is connected to the main body part; a suction part for sucking up dirt and dust, said suction part being connected to the manipulation part and comprising a rotating brush and a brush motor for driving the rotating brush; a first communication part which is disposed in the main body part and communicates data with the manipulation part; a main body control part which controls the first communication part; a second communication part which is disposed in the manipulation part and communicates data with the first communication part; a manipulation control part which transmits data to the second communication part; a reference potential line which applies a reference potential to the first communication part and the second communication part and which is used in supplying power to the brush motor; and a sensing part for sensing the power supply state of the brush motor. On the basis of the result of the sensing of the sensing part, the main body control part causes data communication between the first communication part and the second communication part in a period wherein the brush motor power supply current is less than or equal to a predetermined defined value.
