Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner, and more specifically, to a vacuum cleaner comprising: a cleaner main body; a cover member which is provided to the upper part of the cleaner main body so as to be capable of being opened/closed; a suction hose which is mounted on the front surface of the cover member and sucks in dust; moving wheels which are provided to both side surfaces of the cleaner main body; a wheel motor assembly which is connected with the moving wheels and rotates same in order to enable the cleaner to be driven; a plurality of obstacle detection members which are disposed on one side of the front of the cover member in order to detect obstacles in front of and/or on the sides of the cleaner main body; and a PCB which controls the operation of the wheel motor assembly according to detection signals from the obstacle detection members.
