Abstract:
Disclosed is a vacuum cleaner capable of continuously discharging static electricity during operation. The vacuum cleaner comprises: a cleaner body that generates suction power; and a suction unit that sucks dust by means of the suction power, wherein the suction unit comprises: a cylindrical drum that rotates to clean the dust on the floor; a drum brush including conductive bristles provided on the outer peripheral surface of the drum; a conductive dust guide part having a guide portion connected to the cleaner body and guiding the suctioned dust to be transmitted to the cleaner body; and a contact portion extending from the guide portion and provided to contact the bristles of the drum brush so as to transfer the static electricity of the cleaner body to the bristles of the drum brush. The vacuum cleaner of the present invention may discharge the static electricity charged in the dust guide part, a connecting pipe, and a dust collector during operation to the floor through the contact portion of the dust guide part that contacts the drum brush, and discharge bristles of the drum brush.
