Abstract:
Provided is a vacuum cleaner that makes it easy to perform operations such as the sliding of a suction head. A vacuum cleaner 100 comprises: a pair of rotary brushes 27, 28 for collecting dust on a surface CS being cleaned, said rotary brushes including a first rotary brush 27 which is attached to a first rotary shaft 24A1 that rotates in a first direction, and a second rotary brush 28 which is attached to a second rotary shaft 24A2 that rotates in the inverse direction from the first direction; a first frictional force reduction member 22 that is attached to the first rotary shaft; and a second frictional force reduction member 23 that is attached to the second rotary shaft. The position of the bottom end of the first frictional force reduction member is below the position of the bottom end of the first rotary brush. The position of the bottom end of the second frictional force reduction member is below the position of the bottom end of the second rotary brush.
