Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner of the present invention comprises: a housing having a dust canister provided in the lower portion thereof which includes a suction opening; a filter part which filters out dust from the air suctioned through the suction opening, and which is spaced from the inner peripheral surface of the housing; an air guide for guiding, to a suction motor for generating suction force, the air having passed through the filter part in the inner region of the filter part; a movable part which rises and lowers between a first position and a second position in the space between the outer side of the filter part and the inner peripheral surface of the housing; an operating part of which at least a portion is exposed to the outside of the housing, and which rises and lowers by the operation of a user; and a transmitting unit of which at least a portion is accommodated in the housing, and which connects the operating part and the movable part.
