Abstract:
A vacuum cracking method and cracking apparatus for a traction battery. The vacuum cracking method comprises the following steps: feeding waste traction batteries from a feeding hopper (810) and then feeding the waste traction batteries into a rolling device (700) for rolling treatment to obtain crushed materials; conveying the crushed materials to a cracking device (300), first carrying out preheating, then raising the temperature, and carrying out cracking in an inert atmosphere or vacuum to obtain cracked gas, a solid cracked product and an uncrackable product; and conveying the solid cracked product and the uncrackable product to a pyrolysis device (500), and carrying out pyrolysis in an aerobic atmosphere to obtain pyrolysis gas and a product that is unable to be pyrolyzed.
