Description:
1. TITLE : VACUUM-EXTINGUISHER TUBE [VET]

2. FIELD OF INVENTION :

The field Of invention is TIRE BEING EXTREME TEMPERATURE INTERACTING WITH OXYGEN IS EXTINGUISHED BY SUCKING THROUGH VACUUM-SPACING".

3. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION ;

The background of the invention is being stated beiow :

(i) In our modern fife, we are usually in touch with three gadgets. These are Vacuum cleaner, Thermos-flask, Pressure Cooker Vessel and also IPG in normal or Low Pressure.

By Vacuum cleaner dust of the room is removed. By chance it was seen that when the Vacuum Cleaner was operated to clean or remove the dust layer seen just nearby the combustive burner of the gas-oven, surprisingly the flames were abruptly disappeared. Then, by igniting the burner it took a few seconds to catch fire again. Why the flames were extinguished was the question repeatedly striking the mind. Later on it was realised that it's the sucking force of the Vacuum which, in fact, not sucked the dust but the air which carried on the dust particles into the machine.

This observation concerning Vacuum-sucking force has also been confirmed by a T.V. channel show in which during Iraq-War (199.1-92) Saddam Hussain, set fire to oil wells. After the end of war the blazing fire flames were extinguished by the Boots & Coots Company by utilising almost 130 Vacuum-barrels to fetch water forcibly from very far-off welis and then let the millions of gallons of water poured into the burning inferno of the gasoline wells. Thereafter the Company engineers, contrived a bcm -iike bail which was thrown through a biazing gasoline flames. This bomb bursted into the rising columns of flames which were surprisingly seen disappeared. May be the blast might have created vacuum to create a chasm disturbing the flames outcome from the gasoline well.

However, the above mentioned observations inspired the conceptual method of invention that why not a Vacuum-Extinguishing tube be made of Vacuum Spacing metais fully coifed in shape.

Further this tube's both the ends be equipped with fire sensitive plastic cap being outer Pressure-Vaives. Both the fire sensitive plastic made cap ends inner frame be coated with silver paper Then by fixing and setting the tail end, the preferred head being capped with sensitive plastic cap/valve being i mm gauge be fitted with the coiled neck sides of the tube by vacuum sealing process.

With this preparation, the sealed head be thrown into the biazing fire wherein, the plastic head will be meit by the fire flames which instantly be sucked by the Vacuum metal made tube. The option as to plastic cap/valve may also he made of a siiver metallic paper thin cover.

Whenever any larger area is gripped within wild fire flames and smoke, a much more cubic vacuum-spacing tanker tube made of vacuum spacing metais be equipped with nozzle and its top be welded with the similar diameter of exhaust pipe and fitted with fire sensitive plastic or siiver metallic paper made cap/valve which has to be adjusted with a vertical pipe on the top of it whereby the sucked fire smoke will pass through into the open atmosphere.

In this context how can we define vacuum? it is being explained that vacuum lacks atoms, therefore, it's to be defined as 'NOTHINGNESS'. It is obvious that nothingness doesn't activates. It's the atomic matter that activates. It is also to be made dear that fire is extinguished by pouring water on the burning-artide leaving aside the smoke and burnt micro-mini particles flickering around the spot whereas vacuum tube prevents fire flames moving further capturing unburnt agents whatsoever. The ashes represent already burnt particles of the fire involved articles with heat and smoke.

Once the firefighters, activate with vacuum tube of whatsoever length and diameter with the holiow round part, will successfully divert the expansion of fire flames and smoke,

(ii) Further the background illustrates the similar method of invention extended to the LP Gas containe or other natural gas containers which are accidentally involved in extreme high temperature causing blast and fire. Unless the container is equipped with Pressure Relief Valve, it is sure to catch fire if involved in extreme temperature or due to leaking of gas.

The idea to contrive and weld the proposed Pressure Relief Valve to the container, has been adopted from the Pressure Cooker Vessel Once the steel cap on the top of this vesse! was blocked up and jammed, therefore no hissing sound of the continuous passing of steam gas through the tiny holes of the cap was audible. Suddenly the item known as Pressure Relief Valve itself blown up and blasted the excess amount of steam passed through the tiny almost 5 mm diameter of alloy set within one cm diametric valve components. Since, the outburst of excess quantity of steam was in fact hot water, nothing untoward happened and after removing the blasted valve, a new valve was fitted into the cover-lid.

Keeping this incident in mind, whenever any LP Gas Cylinder blast has been reported by the newspapers quoting causalities an idea struck in mind that why not such a valve device be introduced on the cylinder's outer cover- side because until now the cylinder has been bereft of this compulsory item.

Without providing valve-device, we can't ever imagine to install a vacuum-extinguisher tube on the cover's outer frame of the cylinder. In this It is also to be made dear that fire Is extinguished by pouring water on the buming-articie leaving aside the smoke and burnt micro-mini partictes flickering around the spot whereas vacuum tube prevents fire flames moving further capturing unburnt agents whatsoever. The ashes represent already burnt particles of the fire involved articles with heat and smoke.

Once the firefighters, activate with vacuum tube of whatsoever length and diameter with the hollow round part, will successfully divert the expansion of fire flames and smoke.

(ii) Further the background illustrates the similar method of invention extended to the IP Gas container or other natural gas containers which are accidentally involved in extreme high temperature causing blast and fire. Unless the container is equipped with Pressure Relief Varve, it is sure to catch fire if involved in extreme temperature or due to leaking of gas.

The idea to contrive and weld the proposed Pressure Relief Vaive to the container, has been adopted from the Pressure Cooker Vessel, Once the steei cap on the top of this vessel was blocked up and jammed, t «-^ > - ~~ hissing sound of the continuous passing of steam gas through the tiny holes of the cap was audible. Suddenly the item known as Pressure Relief Valve itself blown up and blasted the excess amount of steam passed through the tiny almost 5 mm diameter of alloy set within one cm diametric vaive components. Since, the outburst of excess quantity of steam was in fact hot water, nothing untoward happened and after removing the blasted valve, a new valve was fitted into the cover-lid.

Keeping this incident in mind, whenever any LP Gas Cylinder blast has been reported by the newspapers quoting causalities a idea struck in mind that why not such a vaive device be introduced on the cylinder's outer cover side because until now the cylinder had been bereft of this compulsory item.

Without providing valve-device, we can't ever imagine to install a vacuum-extinguisher tube on the cover's outer frame of the cylinder, In this regard Thermos-Flask technique can be partially followed.. It's a known fact: that Vacuum is a good insulator to temperature. A perfect vacuum is defined without atoms, therefore without atoms the process eliminate conduction and convection completely.

The combination of vacuum in the space and silvering coating of the metal greatly reduces heat transfer by conduction convection and radiation. A Thermos Fiask doesn't allow heat transfer by any of the three ways that heat can travel.

Nevertheless, this principle in addition to weid a deviced valve, inspired to work with a bell type vacuum extinguisher tube be mad of molybdenum, tungsten or preferred vacuum spacing metals fully painted inside with silvering together with the cylinder surface where the proposed model of the tube be installed on the specified spot not very far from the knob,

The proposed spot being 5 cm of circumference be welded- with the same metal of .which the tube is to be made. The proposed tube's metal of 2 mm guage and 9 cm in height be fitted on a welded channel of its coiled neck raised up by 1.5 cm on the 5 cm circumference being made on plane space of the cylinder.

Whereupon I cm diameter of hole is to be cut on the centre. The whole Is to be covered by a hard silver metallic paper thin tip of 2 cm diameter. The surface be made Silvering and the faint edges of the silver paper tip be pressed around and set by a nickel metal ring of 3 mm guage. This contrivance is to be known as a deviced valve.

This valve device being almost 2 cm in diameter will be double in size as compared to the pressure-cooker's 1 cm Valve within which 5 mm alloy tip is inserted because the domestic LP Gas Cylinder contains almost 15 kg. liquid gas or even 30 kg in a rather excess capacity of the cylinder. Now by providing pressure relief valve, in any event of rising extreme temperature beyond 100 Degree Celsius, this vaive being a hard Silver metallic paper thin tip wiii ensure the regulation of temperature whenever the vaive is blown up by tre expanding volume of the liquid gas which thereby be sucked by Vacuum spacing of the tube. This Innovative process wiil be a deterrent to the blast or explosion,

4, OBJECT Of- THE INVENTION :

The object of invention is to terminate and extinguish fire flames expansion from combustion area through sucking force by vacuum spacing tube which is also designed to regulate temperature of LP Gas container otherwise blast and fire is imminen

5. SUMMARY :

The proposed model of handy Vacuum Extinguisher tube made of preferred vacuum spacing metal, coiled shape, being 3 or 4 metre i lengt with 7 cm or 8 cm diametrical space of its hollow pipe frame. Both the hallow head of the tube, be dosed with fire-sensitive plastic or hard silver metallic paper thin cap/valve. Any of its preferred hollow parts head before throwing into blazing fire for sucking purpose be apped and flttea oy vacuum sealing. Such vacuum tubes be made and prepared in different categories in respect of length, size and ' diameter of its hollow pipe parts. -A longer size vacuum tube can also be connected with the nozzle of a much more cubic meter capacity of vacuum spacing Tanker Tube (see Diagram i-

2).

Further in respect of regulating temperature so as to extinguish fire and b!ast concerning Low Pressure gas container, the first and foremost condition is to fit in the outer cover side frame of the container a device known as Pressure Relief Valve which is to be enveloped by a Vacuum Extinguishing tube figured in diagram. Diagonally In opposition to this base cover valve, a similar prototype with the same diameter be also fitted on the top of the vacuum tube being an effective outlet to gas in emergency.

The pressure relief device or valve being a hard sliver metallic paper thin tip being 2cm diametric covering lcm diameter hole is set within a nickel metal ring of 3 mm guage, will be a permanent and sure check to the rising volume of the fluid by regularising - high temperature so as to control and prevent the blast by sucking process of the vacuum tube, {See Diagram

7 - A. HOW DID THE INVENTION OCCUR :

The occurrence to invention has already been stated and explained in the Background Paras where extinguishing fire by sucking force of vacuum has been outlined.

N w it is stated again that the Imagination brought back a T.V. Show in which during IRAQ-WAR betwee 1991-92, Boots & Coots Company got 130 vacuum barrels which were utilised to fetch water forcibly from distant water-we!ls and then the water was dropped into the fire and smoke- discharging oil-wells through hose-pipes, But still the fire-flames were seen unextinguished from some oil-weiis. So, the company prepared bomb like item and managed to throw into the rising columns of blazing flames which were immediately seen separated and disappeared. May be such an operation had been contrived as a bomb-creating vacuum. From witnessing the T.V. Show th pertinent question arises that when liquid that is water can be hauled forcibly through pipe then why not hot temperature ridden fire flames be sucked by vacuum in the same manner.

Besides, the imagination stretched to our kitchen room where LP. Gas cylinder Is a priority item for cooking food by providing temperature to the Pressure Cooker Vessel and the iid of it is equipped with a Pressure Relief Valve. In such rooms we also observe Thermos Flask fo regulating temperature and also use Vacuum Cleaner while cleaning the dust around the burner-combustion Vyhere its sucking force extinguished the fire flames so effectively that the burner for a while lost its combustion force when ignited by the lighter. further, during September 2015, a L.P.G. cylinder - blast in Bombay took several lives and damaged property. Thereafter since October 2015 newspapers reported LP, Gas Cylinder blast at New Delhi Suburban area and soon after a few days later of this incident, the news related to cylinder- blast at Ludhiana, rocked everybody's sensibility. After some time Gas cylinders blast in Nigeria was a rare and an unimaginable havoc where it was reported that more than hundred men, women and children had lost their iife. Such heart breaking news not only shocked but evoked the sensibility as to what precaution has to be evolved to check the gas biast which In open atmosphere virtually becomes fire while catching the oxygen.

B, ft] CONSTITUENTS Of THE FUTURE INVENTION :

(i) Infact, it is the Retractable machine that creates Vacuum" and every paraphernalia of the tube is constituted on Vacuum*.

(ii) in respect of environmental fire break, the handy or even mobile tube be made of vacuum-spacing metal. In view of the fire volume, larger size having proper d!ametere of cap/valve may be arranged and finked to any bigger container tube's nozzle. The tubular-tank may also be vacuumised and equipped with exhaust valve upon which a vertical pipe be fixed so as to pass out the fire and smoke into the open environment,

(til) The fire sensitive cap/valve made of plastic or silver metallic a -' thin cap be fitted with the tube's nozzle or neck by the vacuum sealing apparatus. Now this sealed valve or cap should be made ready to be thrown into the fire combustion area. The length, width / diameter, shape, coiow. , design be decided by the fire fighting contingent.

(iv) The vacuum tubes of different size be prepared in advance with proper vacuum spacing metals.

[2] (i) In LP Gas Supply Sector, the cylinder's specified spot is to be fitted with a Pressure Relief Valve which has been proposed as a I cm diameter cut in the centre of 5 cm circumference. This hole is to be covered by 2 cm diameter of a hard silver metallic paper thin tip which is to be pressed and welded or glued around by a 3 mm guage nickel metal ring, as has been shown in drawing Mo. 3,

(ii) As stated above in (i) the vacuum tube is also the major constituent to be fitted upon the valve of LP. Gas cylinder or any natural gas container too. Thereafter, simultaneously evacuating the air by Vacuum-Sealing Machine the tube be fixed and fitted upon the cotied round neck of the channel of almost 5 cm of circumference welded on the container.

(iii) The proposed vacuum tube be made of either molybdenum, tantalum Tungsten or the metals listed on line for creation of vacuum spacing and be painted inside with silver-paint along with the surface and the valve too.

(iv) The vacuum tube design and shape be made by adopting coiled pattern or may be made without coil since It has to remain straight by setting upon the container.

C. The old 3¾ ot ExtingM Hffr M tfwcte are Water spraying, •ABC type dry powder, CO 2 fire extinguisher, Mechanical foam f re extinguisher water C<¾ type fire extinguisher, but in fact, ail these old methods will also continue to put an end to the burnt articles whereas Vacuum Extinguisher tube is instrumental to terminate or extinguish fire flames expansion. In future, the proposed technique is termed as 'Reversal- Operation' of Fire Extinguishing Method, preventing further fire e ansi n

D. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In respect of A tyiosp edc Fire Ext ffujshfftff peration

It's an emergency outlet to the heated gas beyond 200° elsius if any unprecedented incident or accident occurs. It's inner frame also be silver painted because it is within the vacuum spacing part.

E. MANUFACTURING COST ;

(!) Pressure Relief Vaive may cost not more than s. 25. (ii) Bell type coiled or even a cheaper metal made tube may cost not more than SO to Rs. 100.

(Ill) Plastic or stiver metallic paper made vaive or cap on both the sides of the Fire Extinguishing tube may cost not more than Rs. 20 to 30,

(!v) Cost of silvering inside of the Pressure Relief Regulating tube according to the particular size and shape of the tube may cost from Rs. 200 to 300.

<v) In case the environmental tubes are made of stainless steel or other costlier metals prescribed for vacuum spacing-creation, the cost can't be estimated.

(vi) Retractable-machine for vacuum sealing may not be very costlier item but necessary to create vacuum spacing. Its purchase is compulsory and may remain in service for longer time.

(vil) If Aluminum-Alloy made Tanker Tube's are made, then the cost may be much less cheaper than the existing tanker hauling water. Moreover, water is a heavy matter whereas 'Vacuum' is nothing or say empty-space needs no power or energy as compared to water pumping by diesei engine.

How does the proposed innovation substantiate the complete specification?

Q.l How does Extinguisher Tube differ from Vacuum Cleaner?

1. However, the method of extinguishing fire is based on the Vacuum Cleaner's function. As defined in foregoing pages that fire is an interaction of air/oxygen with extreme temperature. When the vacuum cleaner is operated, in fact, its machine doesn't remove the dust, but sucking force by vacuum, sucks the air which carries aiongwith it the dust. Ofcourse, the fire being the heated air, therefore, while operating the vacuum cleaner just around a burner of gas in combustion, astonishingly it was observed that not only the flames were extinguished within no time but the unburnt gas of the cylinder continued being sucked by the vacuum cleaner. Almost for a few seconds the burner couidnt catch fire igniting it by the lighter. In fact, Vacuum Oeaner Is a mechanical apparatus whereas Vacuum Extinguisher tube's simple design and method of operation differs being manually operated for terminating fire-flames with smoke.

In case, if there is a fire break gripping a larger area, then the operator ca connect this vacuum Extinguisher tube to the nozzle of more than 200 cubic feet vacuumised tanker tube with cap/valves and exhaust pipe, in such a state of fighting fire, the sucking force will be so powerful that fire-flames flaring would immediately cease by entering forcibl into a greater vacuumised space and then melting and bicwing up the tail of the plastic or silver paper made exhaust cap/valve will disappear into open atmosphere through the exhaust pipe (Figure-2).

Q,2 : Zn respect of LP. Gas Sector fire break or blast the relevant question posed as to how does the smaller size vacuum extinguisher tube prepared by evacuating air from more or less cubic vacuum space, ii! regulate the explosive energy of the heated gas?

The answer is ~ that by entering or sucking of a small quantity of the erupted gas particles in an 'Atomless' space wherein the smallest particles of the chemical elements of the gas or say atoms will get affected not only in the vacuum space but the atoms being intravenous relationship or interrelated will automatically regulate the temperature of the massive atomic particles moving inside the gas container. Thus the gas would come back to its normal volume until the temperature crosses above 100-300 Celsius or even more and thereafter the boiling particles may blow up the deviced vaive at the top releasing the heated gas but the container won't get affected by high degree of temperature which otherwise might have bursted the container virtually turning i as a bomb.

Interaction of heated gas particies of gas in Vacuum space in the proposed tube, intact is a direct process as compared to Thermos-flask wherein the content's temperature remains in status-quo condition insoite of the fact that content preserved into the flask has no direct contact with the vacuum space which only surrounds by another covering-flask. So is the case concerned with space-craft crew wherein even though surrounding by vacuum space, the inside working Astronauts are always seen affected by loss of gravity. Such explanations concerning vacuum space can distinguish the direct and indirect effect of the vacuum.

Mention may also be made that even a pin-prick sensation anywhere on skin is felt by the entire human body atoms so is the case with heated gas particles sucked by the proposed Vacuum Extinguisher tube.

Further it is repeated that the common constituents of both the tubes are (i) Vacuum spacing by Retractable Machine (ii) Valves although of different device (iii) The Vacuum creating metals except the shape, size and design but the function of the gas container tube and atmospheric handy vacuum tube is similar in respect of regulating temperature of fire and preventing expansion or blast by sucking force, thus extinguishing or terminating fire break within a short time.

(?) Mention may also be made that the proposed Vacuum-Extinguisher tube is not a mechanical apparatus, therefore specification as to Its design, size, shape, capacity and diameter including valve's covering tip are subject to alteration,

(ii) Any one may again express doubt as to the efficacy of a tiny vacuum tube on the container that how can it will regulate temperature of high pressing fluid. It's simple to understand that a marathon runner while in speed gains temperature. His body by continuous running gains temperature. If he is served at road side with a small bottle of water, then by gulping water he gains much more energy to boost his running speed. Similarly, temperature bearing gas particles melting the valve cover will be sucked by the vacuum tube by regulating the atoms of the gas particle.

To sum up the above explanation, it is also expedient to know that Pressure Relief Valve is natural organ not only in ail living beings but to ail tilings in motion such as volcano eruption to the internal pressure relief of the earth.

2. ΟΗΕΛΑΤΙΟΜ - PLANNING :

(i) The fire Brigade, may get from manufacturer sufficient number of Tubes in advance fully vacuum ised along with extra number of Cap- Valves.

(ii) The Tube will ensure safe entry nearby or even in a fire-gripped apartment provided a longer exhaust pipe or tube made of plastic or other hose made materials, be connected with the head of tail-end valve of the tube whereby sucked fire flames forcibly melting and blowing up the plastic valve and thereby converting into hot air smoke will pass through the extended pipe to be laid down horizontally or vertically whenever such odd situation is confronted,

(iii) Mo eove ; the Tube can be utilised in operation for a longer time except the cheaper items being cap/vah es.

(}v) In respect of LP, Gas Container's Fire Vacuum-Extinguisher Tube, it may be adjusted on a flat Surface to be welded in between the handling columns within a 5 cm space, as proposed but the space may be more or less in accordance with the size and capacity of the containers gas quantity being 2 kg, 5kg, 15 kg, 30 kg and even 40 kg,

(v) In case the fire sensitive cap/vaive doesn't melt or catch fire within seconds then, envelope the head with a fibre-wolien cap dipped into gasoline drops which would align with the fire flames immediately and- sucking process be without any delay. Being sucked the fire flames smoke will burst the tail end's cap or valve especially made of thin silver paper and then pass through the ordinary metal made hose tube or pipe which would release sucked flame and smoke into the open atmosphere. Such metal made hose pipe longer in size may be attached to the tail end valve before extinguishing operation.

(vi) Vacuum-Spacing metais veracity be tested in Lab in respect of guage or thickness of the valve's covering tip whether it can be melted up beyond 100° or 200° Celsius temperature or not.

(vii) Option to the proposed valve covering being Hard Silver Paper Thin Tip can be replaced by metal tip such as tungsten, nickei or aluminum.

(viii) The heads of the tube to be thrown into flames can be extended i size and design in view of the area gripped unde fire.
