Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vacuum heat-insulating material with which the reduction in heat-insulating effects in the thickness direction can be limited even while maintaining strength. The vacuum heat-insulating material inhibits heat transfer in the thickness direction from one surface of a core material to the other surface. The core material is provided with a first fiber material layer and a second fiber material layer. The first fiber material layer is provided with multiple short fibers layered in the thickness direction. The second fiber material layer is provided with multiple long fibers layered in the thickness direction and multiple thickness fiber bundles, which extend in the thickness direction and each of which bundles multiple long fibers. The multiple long fibers are longer than the multiple short fibers.
