Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a vacuum pump, a magnetic bearing device for use with the vacuum pump, and annularly-arranged electromagnets such that the attractive force of electromagnets can be augmented without changing the size of a conventional annular stator core, by increasing the number of turns in a coil to be wound on each bobbin. [Solution] A bobbin 33 attached to a tooth 31b of an annular stator core 31 is provided with: a bobbin body 35, the periphery whereof a wound coil 34a is wound around, attached to a tooth 31b with the tooth 31b being inserted through openings formed on both ends thereof; a hollow rectangular first flange part 36 disposed on one end face of the bobbin body 35 located towards the center O of the annular stator core 31; a hollow rectangular second flange part 37 disposed on the other end face of the bobbin body 35; and a coil-turn increase means (30) formed on the first flange part 36 and/or on the second flange part 37 for increasing the number of turns in the wound coil 34a wound around the bobbin body.
