Abstract:
A vacuum pump (100) of the present invention comprises a rotor (22b), a rotary blade (13), and a magnetic-bearing-integrating stator (22a) containing a coil. The rotor includes a pair of spacer members (29), a support member (27), a permanent magnet (26), and a protection ring (28), and the mechanical strength in an axial direction of a rotating shaft (11) of the support member is greater than the mechanical strength in the axial direction of the protection ring.
