Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain a vacuum pump which suppresses an influence on external pipes caused by a poor contact of a rotor during the rotation of the rotor. [Solution] This vacuum pump is provided with a heating ring 301, wherein: a discharge port 133 connected to an external pipe is connected to the heating ring 301; and a torque is directly or indirectly applied to the heating ring 301 due to poor contact of a rotor during the rotation of the rotor. In addition, a rotation suppression means (hole 301a, a bolt 305, etc.) which suppresses the rotation of the heating ring 301 due to the above-mentioned torque is provided aside from the connection portion between the heating ring 301 and a casing (outer barrel 127a).
