Description:
VACUUM SUCTION TUBE ADAPTER WITH JOINTS FOR REACHING NARROW

OR HARD-TO-REACH SPACES

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention can fall within the technical field of domestic cleaning devices and vacuums in general, as well as in the field of connections or other fittings for pipes, and it particularly relates to an adapter element for vacuum suction tubes, having at least two joints to be able to reach narrow or hard-to-reach spaces. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The variety of existing cleaning devices, as well as their different applications of use, among which include vacuums, is known by the public. They vary in terms of size, material and technology used, physical effort required and even the capacity for use and adaptability of fittings that enable the functional characteristics thereof to be enhanced.

The most common fittings of vacuums are adapters that help to either increase the reach of the suction tube and/or change the cleaning nozzle according to the surface type, area or space to be cleaned. Therefore, most of these fittings, due to their size, become unusable in small and/or hard-to-reach spaces due to obstacles in the way.

For example, a conventional adapter could not be used quickly and easily to clean inside the hole of a guitar, since the strings would first have to be removed in order to then insert the suction tube; or, likewise, it would complicate the use thereof in air conditioning outlets due to the slots that they have.

Some documents that disclose specific adapters for vacuum tubes are known in the current state of the art. For example, patent number US6431607 describes a vacuum pipe assembly that can have inner and outer pipes telescopingly engaged with one another and on a sleeve surrounding the inner pipe, a locking body which engages in selected detents formed on the inner pipe.

A rocker or rotatable eccentric in a housing on the sleeve surrounding the inner pipe bears directly against the locking body and is biased by a spring into the locking position.

Unlike common adapters, the adapter for tubes of the present invention seeks to be able to facilitate the cleaning process in these areas or spaces, since it not only has a reduced thickness, but it also has at least two joints that facilitate the movement thereof once inside the space. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a device that can be disassembled and adapted to vacuums and which can be attached and removed either from the main extraction tube or from an extension.

The main objective of this adaptable device is to enable a vacuum to be used to clean any instrument, equipment or space that has small spaces and/or interposed elements that prevent or make it difficult to completely insert and move the vacuum inside of them.

The adapter of the invention has a main tube in the preferred embodiment thereof that has a nozzle on both ends, one for directly adapting or connecting to the vacuum and the other for the suction and cleaning inside the area or space.

To facilitate the movement of the device inside the area or space, once inserted, there are at least two bends in the form of bellows or an accordion which will facilitate the movement and adaptation of the device in all directions.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

As a complement to the description provided herein, and for the purpose of helping to make the characteristics of the invention more readily understandable, in accordance with a preferred practical exemplary embodiment thereof, said description is accompanied by a set of drawings constituting an integral part of the same, which by way of illustration and not limitation represents the following:

Figure 1 shows an upper plan view of the adapter in an extended position.

Figure 2 shows a side view of the adapter of Figure 1 .

Figure 3 shows an upper plan view of the adapter in a first retracted position, with both joints thereof bent in opposite directions.

Figure 4 shows an upper plan view of the adapter in a second retracted position, with both joints thereof bent in the same direction.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

A detailed explanation of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the object of the present invention is provided below with the help of the figures referred to above.

The vacuum suction tube adapter with joints for reaching narrow or hard-to- reach spaces comprises a main tube (1 ), tube (1 ) that has a first open end (2) and a second end (3) also open and opposite the first end (2).

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, a first nozzle (4) is connected to the first end (2), intended to couple to a suction outlet of a vacuum machine that enables a flow of suction pressure to pass through the tube (1 ). In this preferred embodiment, the first nozzle (4) has a reduction (5) in diameter towards the main tube (1 ).

A second nozzle (6) is connected on the second end (3), intended to enable the passage of the flow of suction pressure through the inside thereof, to facilitate the suction of waste located near said second nozzle (6).

The tube (1 ) incorporates a first joint (7) and a second joint (8) that are interposed, which enable the retraction and axial movement thereof. Therefore, the tube (1 ) is formed by a consecutive and coaxial joint of a first section (9), located between the first end (1 ) and the first joint (7), a second section (10) that extends between the first joint (7) and the second joint (8) and a third section (1 1 ) that extends from the second joint (8) to the second end (3).

As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the joints (7,8) allow for different and independent orientations of the sections (9, 10, 1 1 ) of the main tube (1 ), thus facilitating the adaptation thereof to irregular geometries.
