Abstract:
A vacuum thermal insulation material is provided with a sheath material and a core material sealed in a hermetically sealed depressurized state inside the sheath material. The sheath material comprises a gas barrier layer and a heat-sealing layer (22A). The heat-sealing layer (22A) contains a heat-sealing resin and filler (41) with an aspect ratio that exceeds 1. In the heat-sealing layer (22A), at least some of the filler (41) is disposed so that the long axis direction intersects with the direction in which the heat-sealing layer (22A) spreads. Provided thereby is a vacuum thermal insulation material in which penetration of gases to the interior is limited and the hermetically sealed depressurized state of the interior can be favorably maintained.
