Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vacuum thermal insulation panel that is used as a thermal insulation material, and more particularly, to an improved structure of a vacuum thermal insulation panel for improving upon the thermal insulating characteristics of a conventional vacuum thermal insulation panel that has an outer shell in which a filler material is filled therein, wherein a spacer is installed in a vacuum space so that the outer shell structure can support load from atmospheric pressure and heat transfer via conduction is kept at a minimum, and a diffusing or non-diffusing getter is applied to the panel inner surface so as to maintain the vacuum inside the panel at 10-3 torr or less over a prolonged period. The vacuum thermal insulation panel of the present invention comprises: an outer shell top plate (100) defining a predetermined space; an outer shell bottom plate (200) bonded at an edge thereof to the outer shell top plate (100); a vacuum space (600) defined by the outer shell top plate (100) and the outer shell bottom plate (200); a spacer (300) installed in the vacuum space (600) to prevent deformation of the outer shell top plate (100) and bottom plate from external pressure; and a getter portion (400) formed on the inner surface of the outer shell top plate (100).
