Abstract:
A valve actuator opens or closes a valve in such a way that a first spring seat (14) and a second spring seat (32) move close to, or away from, each other. The valve actuator is provided with a first coil spring (51), a second coil spring (52), and an intermediate spring bearing element (60). An opening into which the second coil spring (52) is inserted, is formed in the intermediate spring bearing element (60). The intermediate spring bearing element (60) comprises a first spring bearing section (62), between which and the first spring seat (14), the first coil spring (51) is held; a second spring bearing section (64) which is located inside the first coil spring (51), and between which and the second spring seat (32), the second coil spring (52) is held; and a connecting section (66) which is located between the first coil spring (51) and the second coil spring (52), and connects the first spring bearing section (62) and the second spring bearing section (64) integrally to each other.
