Abstract:
Provided is a valve control device for a valve mechanism having return torque applied thereto, wherein the valve control device accelerates the response of a valve driven by a brushless DC motor equipped with a positional detection sensor having a rough electrical angle resolution and attains soft landing of the valve without collision with a machine end. The valve control device for the opening/closing control of the valve mechanism having return torque applied in the opening direction or the closing direction of the valve is provided with: a positional control system which outputs a q-axis current command on the basis of the positional deviation between the target position command of the brushless DC motor and the rough present position of the motor detected by the positional detection sensor of a pulse output type; and a current control system which incorporates virtual current feedback and which outputs, without using a current sensor, a phase voltage command on the basis of the q-axis current command and the rough present position of the motor detected by the positional detection sensor of the pulse output type.
