Abstract:
The present invention obtains a valve device of a fuel injection valve that reduces the volume of a volume part present outward from an injection hole in a cavity in the radial direction, promotes the atomization of a fuel spray, and can suppress the occurrence of changes in flow rate accompanying changes in atmospheric pressure. In this valve device of a fuel injection device, the height of the cavity in the axial direction is at least fixed in a region in the radial direction from an opening in a valve seat to an intersection point of the upper surface of an injection plate and the axial center of the injection hole. The outer peripheral wall surface of the cavity has: a truncated conical tapered surface having the center axis of the opening as the axial center thereof, the diameter of which shrinks toward the upstream side; and an "R"-shaped joint for connecting a surface on the upstream side of the cavity and the tapered surface. A part of the opening of the injection hole on the upper surface of the injection plate overlaps the outer peripheral wall surface when viewed from the center axis in the axial direction.
