Abstract:

A valve device is provided with: a drive section (15) having an opening and closing section (13) capable of being switched between an open state in which operating fluid can flow through a passage (12) and a closed state in which the operating fluid cannot flow through the passage (12), the drive section (15) also having a rectilinearly moving mechanism for moving a rectilinearly movable member (314) in the forward and backward directions; a transmission section (50) for bringing the opening and closing section (13) to the closed state when the rectilinearly movable member (314) is moved forward and bringing the opening and closing section (13) to the open state when the rectilinearly movable member (314) is moved backward; and a switching section (60) capable of being switched between a connected state in which the movement of the rectilinearly movable member (314) in the forward and backward directions is transmittable to the transmission section (50) and a disconnected state in which the movement of the rectilinearly movable member (314) in the forward and backward directions is not transmittable to the transmission section (50).
